“The Little Retreat” is a beautifully converted 19th century artisan’s cottage which sits in unspoilt countryside just 20 minutes from the famous Mont St Michel, close to the Normandy border and some of the region's most beautiful beaches. It's the perfect hideaway for couples and families alike.
This
traditional Breton cottage comfortably sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms: one double and one twin. Outside
it has a sunny patio and breakfast area with lovely views of the surrounding
countryside at the front and rear. There is also a barbecue for you to use. Children will love our next door neighbours - a field of friendly cows - and there's hardly any traffic.
Only the occasional tractor will disturb the peace...or perhaps an owl hooting at night!
La Petite Retraite is full of character with exposed beams and a huge, traditional Breton fireplace with log burning stove. There is a modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, gas oven, electric hob, combi-microwave (with grill and convection oven) and fridge. The bathroom has been newly renovated, with bath and shower. For entertainment there is satellite TV and a dvd/video player, plus a selection of films, books and games. The property also has a high-chair and travel-cot, and there are stair-gates to keep little ones safe.
The holiday home is in a beautiful rural location, just one mile from the
nearest village which has a number of shops, restaurants and a post office.
The larger market towns of St James and St Hilaire are 3 to 5 miles away. And there are plenty of exciting places
for families to visit within easy reach, including waterparks, wildlife parks, seaside and forests. Or why not play some golf or do a little horse-riding? Prices

Getting
there
La Petite Retraite is conveniently situated for the ferry ports at
Caen, Cherbourg and St Malo. It’s also just an hour from Dinard Airport.
