La Petite Retraite - Prices and Conditions 2012

The price is for the cottage per week and includes electricity, bedding, linen, and all local taxes. We also provide fire-wood free of charge in winter. All you need to do is bring a towel!

Arrivals
Arrivals and departures are on Saturdays. Arrival time from 2.30pm - any earlier, and you’re going to have to muck in with the cleaners. Best to go and grab a lazy lunch and arrive later on, by which time the cushions will be plumped up and the place will be at its most welcoming.

Departure
After a week or two you’ll love our house as much as we do, so leaving is going to be a wrench. But please tear yourselves away by 10am so we can get ready for our next guests. You’ll also have more time for stocking up on duty frees!


Short Stays
Short stays are available during low and mid season, and over Christmas/New Year. The minimum stay is for 3 nights; email us for a price.

Babies/Toddlers/Older Terrors
We know from experience that your little treasures don’t travel light. We can supply a Travel Cot and Highchair at no extra cost. Just ask when you book. There are also books and games in the cottage, plus a range of DVDs/videos - but feel free to bring your own.

Pets/Smokers
Hamsters - no problem. As for dogs, only one well-behaved pooch by prior arrangement please, and of course we expect you to clean up after it. We would prefer it if you didn’t smoke in the house. If you must light up please don’t smoke in the bedrooms.

Payment and Cancellation
On making a booking, we ask for a deposit of 25%, then take the balance 8 weeks before your holiday begins. We know that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable, so as long as we have 30 days notice we will return all fees. Less then that, and the fee is payable in full - unless we can re-let the cottage, in which case we'll return your payment minus the deposit.
